Church Policies

Funeral Service Procedures at MPMBC

  • The Pastor officiates and preaches all service unless he decides otherwise. I Timothy 4:5-6.
  • The day and time for funeral services must be approved with pastor before made with funeral home. Services in the morning are the preference.
  • We have a standard order of worship for all services. See exhibit attached. Any deviations must be approved by the pastor.
  • No open remarks. This funeral service is a worship service in honor of God celebrating the home going of the deceased.
  • The deceased must be in good standing with MPMBC or another local church if the funeral service is to be held at MPMBC.

  • When food is prepared and served at MPMBC no one should be served before the immediate family is served.
